Awana is the leading ministry to help local churches and parents raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ. Awana blends Bible teaching, evangelism, Scripture memorization and tons of fun. Our goal is to equip students and parents first in Jacksonville and worldwide to raise spiritual champions who know, love and serve Christ through the use of integrated programs for ages 2 to 18, resources for Bible-based parenting and discipleship, family evangelism and specialized volunteer training.
The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that
need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We also have special events and Theme Nights were the clubbers gets to dress up for that evenings theme.
Awana meets every Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m during the school year.
